Abstract: Thin-walled reinforced concrete beams have many advantages such as good mechanical performance, light weight and low cost, so they have been extensively applied in water conservancy, traffic engineering and civil engineering. But the characters of thin-walled structure members under combined torsion is not fully understood. With prescribed generalized coordinate and reasonable assumptions, the differential equation system for restrained torsion analysis of box-section composite beam was established based on the principle of generalized coordinate method, corresponding main programs were compiled using FORTRAN, and the relativity curve and corresponding equations were gained by comparing the results with theoretical analysis of corresponding references. The thinking and computation way are simple and the physical concepts are very clear. It possesses a certain reference significance for the structural design of the actual engineering.
